Deromantic and Megan Hamilton & The Volunteer Canola in
The Steel Lion Burning Train Tour

The two bands will be hitting the road together across Southern Ontario starting early April through the spring and early summer. Be sure to check back for new dates to go along with the ones listed below.

Tour and Recording News

Shelby Lamb is busy recording her next full-length album, and it is sounding wonderful. Check her MySpace page for a couple of upcoming shows.

Deromantic and Megan Hamilton & The Volunteer Canola will announce their spring tour dates and venues through Southern Ontario very soon - be on the lookout for when they hit your town!

Megan Hamilton and the band will begin recording throughout the next months with news to follow as it comes.

Thank you!

Thank you everyone who came out to the FM Holiday Party and helping raise money for the Music Therapy Program at SickKids!

There's lots going on with our artists - Shelby Lamb is back in the studio recording her first full-length at Ivy Laine Studios - watch out for that in the next few months!

Deromantic has been enjoying great reviews from all over the world (check the website for details) and is currently booking Spring tour dates with Megan Hamilton & The Volunteer Canola. Megan has some solo shows, as well as a Wavelength Series show in February - check her website for more details.

Familiar Music Holiday Party!

If you're in the Toronto area, please join us at the El Mocambo on Thursday, December 20th for the Familiar Music Holiday Party!

Door 8:30pm, tickets are $8 - all proceeds to benefit the SickKids Music Therapy Program. Tickets will be available at the door or at Soundscapes and Rotate This. Please join us to celebrate the holidays with all four bands!

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Deromantic CD release party this past Saturday! It was a great night and a real good way to bring the latest FM record into the world. We're really proud of this album. There are pictures on Facebook already, and the event was recorded, so that should start to show up on YouTube fairly soon.

There are a lot of things in incubation mode right now, so stay tuned for upcoming news. Needless to say, 2008 is looking real busy.

The Boat show, Deromantic Release, Texas homecoming and lots of shows!

Thanks to everyone who came out to our FM Showcase at the Boat in early September - it was a blast. Thanks to Keith Hamilton, as always, for being a gem.

Deromantic, the 4th Familiar Music release, has a street date of October 2nd - keep checking www.deromantic.com for a website revamp as well as the latest news and don't miss the CD Release party at the Rivoli on October 20th!

Steve and Megan are recently back from Texas where they ate a lot and played some shows - check MySpace and Facebook for pics and details.

Be sure to catch the Shelby Lamb Band opening for the Les Kilt CD Release party at the Tranzac on October 13th!

Megan Hamilton's how we think about light is now available in stores across Canada. In Toronto, you can pick it up at Soundscapes, Rotate This and Criminal Records.

The Toronto CD release party is Thursday, July 19th at the El Mocambo!

Following the Toronto release, Megan Hamilton & The Volunteer Canola will hit Hamilton (Casbah Lounge, July 26th), London (Alex P. Keaton, July 27th) and Windsor (Phog Lounge, July 28th).
